Here is a study i did from black and white picture,i added my own colors just kept the values from the picture.

Mountain Peaks Study

For this study i only used a round brush and a little bit of smudge tool to paint this.

I first established the piece by blocking in the sky and some of the clouds then i moved to the mountains and finally added the snow.

Took me couple of hours :)

Pirate study

Here i started a sketch of a pirate study from photo ref but with my own twist on it,i used a mechanical pencil to achieve the thin lines of hair and 8B Pencil for the darker tones of the sketch i used also a smudge tool for the face details and blending and an eraser.
